A new button quickly allows web surfers to "Follow" a company's activities on LinkedIn with a quick and simple single click. With more than 2 million companies using Company Pages, according to the social site itself, it has been a long time coming. Thankfully, LinkedIn has finally started rolling out new tools to help grow your professional network on LinkedIn.

Up until this point, you were mainly able to grow your professional network on LinkedIn only through LinkedIn.com.

The Follow Company button helps your health practice or business:

  1. Easily attract new followers outside of your immediate network
  2. Update followers to your Company Page about key industry news, events, etc.

Why follow a company on LinkedIn?

While similar buttons have been a mainstay for other networks, such as Twitter, your healh conscious business will discover different connections for different purposes on LinkedIn. Since LinkedIn is the largest professional network on the Internet, choosing to follow a peer company's updates will increase visibility and engagement capabilities online while keep you up-to-date. Good news since LinkedIn is 277% more effective at converting casual visitors to  clients over Facebook and Twitter.

Who is using the Company Follow button already?

LinkedIn has announced several very large companies such as AT&T, Starbucks, Sony Electronics, American Express OPEN, Rypple, DonnorsChoose, and Kiva who have already installed the function. Don't hesitate to include the new button on your wellness website as well. You couldn't ask for a better way to grow your followers to your LinkedIn Company Page.

Remember it's about more than your followers
