Content Marketing Gets Your Health Company The Golden Ticket

Whether you’re the new kid to the professional block or you feel like you know the ropes, something that you should be aware of when promoting your wellness company is that fresh content is your business' virtual golden ticket to fresh leads and increased visibility. Golden ticketThat’s right, no candy coma required.

“Say what? Here's a visual.

It’s really that easy. But what kind of content should you produce? Here are a few tips to help get your creative juices flowing:

  1. First of all, think about the audience you are trying to reach. Mainly, you should focus on the type of customer you would like to attract. Is he/she young or old? Are you targeting businesses or consumers? Whether your ideal customer resembles an average Joe in your local community or the president, honing in on your target audience will help you streamline your message. Read more: Ready, Aim, Fire. 2. Once you’ve pinpointed your ideal customer(s), think about the type of information that will catch and keep their attention. If you’re a physician, maybe daily health tips are the way to go. If you’re a nutritionist, perhaps a blog that includes your favorite foods, grocers or products would be valuable. Whatever you choose, caters to your audience and  showcase your expertise. This will help build your credibility for the online community and boost the likelihood of them walking through your health and wellness business door.
  3. Once you have your ideas down, create a consistent schedule for composing original content and share it far and wide. Pick your favorite channel(s) of communication and email, post and/or tweet it to your followers, so that they can see it and share it with their networks, too.

Easier than you thought, right? Maybe. But what do you do if you don’t feel like you have the time? A little helping hand is never a bad idea. Having another employee in your company is one way to go or you can hire an external content creation service. You’ll just want to be sure that your message is consistent and accurate, especially if you aren’t doing the creating yourself.
